What does the normal hiring process look like?

For most roles, this would be a normal process, we take applications via our LinkedIn portal or application forms hosted in the Open roles sections

The first call

The first call is with the initial contact, who is likely the person who contacted you or the person managing the hiring process for the role. This step is simply a "getting to know you" chat and an opportunity for you to find out why you applied. We were impressed by your CV and application form and want to learn more about you, as well as give you a chance to learn about Cambrian.

Second call

The second call is with the person you will be reporting to directly. This conversation will focus more on the specific role you applied for and the type of work you may be doing. It may also include a technical interview.

Project round

If you reach this point, we are genuinely excited about the possibility of working with you. We believe the best way to understand how someone works is to actually work with them, so we will work with you to find a short project or task that reflects the type of work you would be doing at Cambrian. The timeline for this will be flexible and we will accommodate your schedule.

Co-founder meet

If the project round is cleared successfully, the third call is with the Cambrian co-founders. If you reach this stage, things are going well. This is a chance for you to get to know the founders and for us to understand what makes you happy at work.

Networking Lunch

Cambrian usually hosts customer/partner events monthly, if not for a private event with customers and audience, we sometimes run in-house luncheons at the HQ. This will be your opportunity to interact with the team and get a glimpse of the office culture. In most cases, if you are invited for this event, a formal offer would be made in the same or following week.
